Wouldn’t normally think of going to an M&S Cafe but my mum is a regular so went along with her and glad I did! So many delicious looking choices of cakes and other snacks - eventually settled on a cheese scone which was lovely, as well as a Colin the caterpillar frappe which is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. The guy behind the counter (possibly called Jaques?) was also very friendly and helpful.

I dashed in for a takeaway coffee for the Big Issue seller outside the store and was served by such a nice young woman. I wish I could remember her name. She was welcoming, smiling, helpful and kind - a credit to M&S. I hope she's appreciated!

Popped in for afternoon tea to find out they weren't serving it so had a toastie and sarnie washed down with a pot of tea.
